Born in Brooklyn but known throughout the USA for sweet, spicy and surprising sauces with a twist. Our products are sold online, in specialty food stores and in select Walmart stores across the USA.

Job Description

This role is uniquely positioned for a motivated sales leader who has an appetite for account management, sales support, and analytics, reporting to the EVP of Sales. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a startup environment, is excited about the consumer products industry, and wants to learn, grow, and build experience in sales and analytics. The role interacts closely with our internal teams including sales, operations, finance, and marketing. The role will have direct selling & account management responsibilities along with working cross-functionally. We are seeking a candidate who has 3+ years of prior experience in Consumer Product Goods (CPG) sales calling on accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Key Account Development and Management – Identify and develop growth plans and expansion within assigned accounts existing retail business & new business development to exceed top and bottom line objectives
  • Develop and grow business relationships at the buyer level along with senior leadership
  • Work closely with broker teams to insure execution of strategies and tactics
  • Responsible for development and execution of presentations and account paperwork
  • Management of short & long-term business strategies, tactics, results, and profitability for sustained profitable growth
  • Driving distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing (DSMP) support to optimize profitability and growth
  • Manage sales, distribution and promotional forecasts
  • Weekly and monthly sales reporting

Qualifications

  • Minimum of College Degree
  • 3+ years Consumer Product Goods (CPG) sales experience
  • Working with and managing a broker team is preferred
  • Experience working with the internal cross functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and focus on detail accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • High level of analytical capability, organization, time management & attention to detail
  • Forecasting, business planning, trade spend management
  • Knowledge of/experience with syndicated data, planogram analysis, marketing concepts
  • Experience managing buyer/merchant relationships at a high level
  • Headquarters is in Washington DC.
  • Role is remote with the expectation of 50+% travel to account meetings, industry events and Impact Driven Brands headquarters in Washington DC.
  • Travel is expected and required
