We’re currently growing our team of Artisans with a Payroll Specialist. This role is responsible for assisting with processing payroll for all RTI entities, as well as for assisting with other payroll responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assists with processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for U.S., Canada, Singapore and EU employees.
2. Tracks and accounts for travel stipends and bonuses.
3. Reviews employee expense reimbursements through Navan.
4. Reconciles benefit premiums and payroll deductions.
5. Reconciles payroll and benefits general ledger accounts.
6. Facilitates tracking of vacation and sick days.
7. Assists with maintenance of employee files.
8. Assists with transmitting the bi-weekly 401K deduction files.
9. Works with confidential information.
10. Compiles and maintains compensation reports as required.
11. Develops solutions to create efficiencies, resolve accounting discrepancies and other financial problems/issues.
12. Works with members of the Accounting and HR teams on compliance items (audits, etc.), general support and other projects as necessary.

None
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field) is typically preferred
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience required
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Accounting software required
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as allocations, percentages, etc.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paylocity payroll system and Replicon time keeping system a plus
- Ability to multi-task and to adapt to changing priorities
- Passionate about serving internal and external customers
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Enjoys working in a challenging, fast–paced and high-growth environment
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
Work will typically be performed in an office environment using routine office equipment.
Ability to lift 5-15 pounds as needed when moving business files and/or papers.
Travel Requirements
Only as needed for training, off-site meetings, etc.
