LEAD Fashion DesignER

We are a fast growing e-commerce apparel company looking for a superstar to join our fashion design team! We’re looking for an experienced designer with 3-7 years of experience and exposure to the full design and production process, including fabric selection, product design, pattern making, samples fitting, and production. This designer will be the lead designer and also help manage production process in China. Mandarin speaking is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • *Create sketches and product prototypes throughout the conceptual design process
  • *Collaborate with sales, technical design, and production teams to ensure style, quality and price meet objectives
  • *Develop color palettes and approve lab-dips
  • *Oversees selection of fabric and trim
  • *Daily communication with overseas factories

Qualifications
  • *Mandarin speaking is strongly preferred
  • *Must understand technical design and pattern making
  • *Must have a good understanding of fabric
  • *Must have strong hand sketching abilities
  • *Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel
  • *Strong work ethic
