The DCX Home Based Estimator work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.
The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)
Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient
Salary Range: PHP 52,000.00
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver bids for Goodall Distributors projects; review and approve contracts won; interface with customer to proactively solve issues to drive project to completion
Develops cost-effective budgets, solicitation of project bids and identification of resources needed.
Reviews all architectural and engineering drawings to ensure all specifications and regulations are being followed. Develops a schedule for completion of project.
Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which includes owners, architects, and consultants. Reports to owners and architect about progress and any necessary modifications of plans.
Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits, and licenses.
Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors, devise project work plan/scope of work and make revisions as and when need arises, ensures that construction activity move according to pre-determined schedule.
Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking expenses and associated costs to achieve completion of the project
Prepare change order pricing for on-going project work when require
Provide shop drawings as needed for customers' specific prokects
Other duties as assigned
Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
Capable in drafting and ability to interpret complex architectural drawings of commercial, industrial, and residential facilities
Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and On-Screen Takeoff software
Strong knowledge of commercial construction project installations. Sound knowledge of engineering design principles
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency.
Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
Excellent client management and customer service skills.
Good numeracy and computer skills
Strong attention to detail
