The Home-Based Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive support to partner attorneys, focusing on efficiently managing scheduling, document preparation, court filings, and hearing/trial preparation. Candidates with experience with the US court system, ideally within family law, and proficiency in MS Office Suite are preferred. A professional demeanor, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills are essential to excel in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Organizes and schedules hearings, depositions, mediations, and attorney appointments.
Coordinates meetings and maintains the attorney's calendar to avoid conflicts.
Prepares, finalizes, and e-files court documents.
Drafts and prepares general pleadings and outgoing discovery requests.
Uploads motions, notices, and supporting documents to CourtMap for hearings and trials.
Assists attorneys with preparation for hearings and trials, including compiling trial binders and case law.
Prepares and organizes correspondence, notices, sample pleadings, and orders as needed.
Performs tasks analogous to the foregoing.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Legal Management, Political Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or any related field.
Experience: At least 1-3 years of direct experience in Family Law and Litigation. Preferably, the ideal candidate should know the US Court system.
Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
Technical Skills: Proficient in both Microsoft and Google applications.
Industry-Specific Software/Knowledge: Preferably experienced in the BPO industry or bulk and remote hiring.

Salary Range: Php 50,000.00 – Php 60,000.00
