The DCX Client Services - Home Based Accountant will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.
The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details
Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)
Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
Written and spoken English skills: Very Proficient
Salary Range: 35,000-40,000
Job Responsibilities
Efficiently code bank and credit card transactions in Xero with an emphasis on accuracy.
Assist with month-end reconciliations to maintain correct and up-to-date financial records.
Support the preparation of financial reports for both internal and external purposes, adhering to deadlines and reporting requirements.
Utilize Xero for a broad range of accounting tasks, including data management and analysis.
Collaborate closely with our CPA team to maintain high standards of accounting service and support.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective information exchange.
Take on additional accounting responsibilities as needed, showing flexibility and a readiness to adapt to varied tasks.
Additional Job Requirements
Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential, preferably 2+ years of experience using Xero.
Highly proficient with communication in both spoken and written English.
Proven track record as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounng, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and familiarity with US GAAP.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client relations.
Proficiency in Microso Office Suite, Google Suite, and an openness to using task management tools.
An energetic personality and the ability to work well within a small, collaborative team.
Flexibility to handle a mix of structured tasks and assignments requiring judgment and initiative
Willing to ask for clarification when guidance is needed and have the ability to apply that guidance in similar situations
