Job Description

The DCX Client Services – Staff Accountant will work as a full-time employee for a growing restaurant business based in the United States. You will get the chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following instructions and processes outlined by our client within the restaurant industry.

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Responsibilities:

• Managing general accounting duties

• Applying generally accepted accounting principles

• Analyzing month-end financials, identifying, and correcting errors, discrepancies, omissions, etc.

• Completing bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

• Managing accounts payable

• Completing month-end balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries

• Performing reconciliation of accounts and allocating expenses between multiple locations in the corresponding months

• General Ledger work

• Email inbox management

• Communicating with vendors

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.

• Experience: 5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience.

• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.

• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in most Microsoft Excel, Xero, R365 databases, and accounting software.

• Industry Specific Software/Knowledge:

• Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Certified Public Accountants (CPA) or Certified Management Accountants (CMA) are required.

What we offer:

• Salary Range: Php 65,000- Php 80,000

• Job Type: Full-time

• Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)

• Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
