Development Lead
B2THEWORLD
WHAT YOU’LL DO as you work hand-in-hand with the CEO:
Phase I:
Source New Funding: Identify, build, and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, churches and other grant making organizations and inspire them to support our mission financially
Develop Philadelphia and the I-95 Corridor: We’d like to see Philadelphia be a base of operations for us, as well as a funding base, while continuing to expand our geographical input throughout the US.
Grow Existing Funders: Nurture and expand relationships with current funders, encouraging and inspiring them to increase their support of our mission
Drive Strategy: Set fundraising goals, strategy, and plans, adhering to strategy, driving alignment, and producing regular reports for the CEO and board on progress
Level-Up Funder Comms: Develop and implement a multi-channel communication strategy to ensure our funders are inspired and up to date with our latest progress
Organize Fundraising Events: Plan and execute a variety of fundraising events ranging from small virtual gatherings to large in-person events
Phase II:
Develop and Lead a Team: Grow our fundraising efforts to develop a team that can take us from the $2M to the $10M mark. This will include managing a small team and enabling other fundraisers and teammates to grow our collective fundraising velocity and build a mature, scalable fundraising operation.
TRANSFORMATION you’ll drive
Partner with the CEO & Board of Directors to grow our funding from $750k+/yr to $2M+/yr so we can deepen our impact, grow our team, and scale our mission to transform finance. Then build the organization to grow from $2M+/yr to $10M+/yr.
Inspire hundreds of individuals, churches and organizations to support our mission for years to come
Co-visioneer with our CEO to scale B2THEWORLD to serve every child that’s impacted by war (400M+).

MINDSET – Success Focus
You love our mission and are passionate about transforming the lives of children impacted by war
A servant leader perspective and posture as you pursue growth and development. The final measure of success being the lives that are transformed. Donations and dollars raised are simply the fuel in our engine, not the measure of success.
You have a passion for education as a catalyst to deliver transformation of lives spiritually, and communities and countries physically.
Unwavering commitment to quality fundraising and data-driven processes
You are ready to jump on a flight to meet a prospective partner who could make a big gift
A desire and willingness to contribute beyond your job description. You’re ready to do whatever it takes to push the mission forward.
Humility to be both a leader and a “do-er.” After building a strategy, you’ll roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get it done.
Courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it. Is something broken? Fix it.
