The Institute for American Policing Reform was founded to facilitate change that leads to standardized, trustworthy, and human dignified policing services in all US states and territories. The system of policing is fractured in the United States. It can be improved through comprehensive and transformational reforms. The Institute for American Policing Reform is a non-partisan organization providing guidance on policing laws and policies, accountability, partnerships in the community, servant leadership, policing standards, education, and training. Their vision is the indoctrination of unalterable regard for human dignity in policing and renewed citizens’ trust in policing services.
